I grew up in Savannah, Ga. I completed my college education at Valdosta State University where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. I moved back home after graduation and completed an internship at Fitness One at Memorial Hospital. After my internship concluded it was time to look for a job. I was a regular member at CrossFit Savannah, and through working out at the gym, I had the opportunity to help with the Online School Hosting Program offered here at PI. After the school year wrapped up, I transitioned into managing the CrossFit side of PI and working closely with Kerri on daily tasks and projects. I enjoy being in a gym setting and helping people reach their fitness goals.
Growing up, I was always very active in sports. I played softball, tennis, and ran track throughout high school. When I got to college, I joined my sorority’s intramural team! I played every sport I could, but as the years went on and my classes became more demanding, it was hard to commit to the practices and games. Because of this, I became very inactive and this affected more than just my physical health. It had more of an impact on my mental health. Once I graduated from Valdosta and moved back home, I started attending classes at CrossFit Savannah. I loved the workouts and the community base. Not only did it help improve my physical health but mental health as well.
I want to help people move more safely and efficiently as they pursue a fit and healthy life.
